...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 AM EDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Fairfield County in central Ohio...

* WHEN...Until 330 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1230 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy
    rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected
    to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches
    of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch
    are possible.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Lancaster, Pickerington, Canal Winchester, Baltimore, Buckeye
    Lake, Bremen, Millersport, Pleasantville, Fairfield Beach,
    Lithopolis, Thurston, Carroll, Rushville, West Rushville,
    Dumontville, Fairfield County Airport, State Route 158 at State
    Route 204 and North Berne.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

your report via social media, when you can do so safely.
