...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Kentucky, including the 
  following county, Montgomery.

* WHEN...Until 845 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is 
  imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 649 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Mount Sterling, Jeffersonville, Camargo, Gatewoods Station,
    Coons Station, Levee, Prewitt, Ewington, Upper Spencer,
    Klondike, Lower Spencer, Howards Mill, Wades Mill, Oggs
    Station and Walkers Crossing.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

The Flood Advisory will expire at 845 PM EDT this evening for a 
portion of east central Kentucky, including the following area, 
Montgomery.

The heavy rain has ended, and flood waters have likely receded. 
Flooding is no longer expected to pose an imminent threat. Please 
continue to heed any lingering road closures.

Additional rainfall is possible later this evening. This additional 
rainfall could produce another round of minor flooding. Remain 
weather aware later this evening.
