* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...South Central Fayette County in central Kentucky...
Garrard County in central Kentucky...
Southeastern Jessamine County in central Kentucky...
Madison County in central Kentucky...
* WHEN...Until 1015 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 716 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Richmond, Lancaster, Mccreary, Berea, Round Hill, Kirksville,
Silver Creek, Duncanon and Crow Valley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

The Flood Advisory will expire at 1215 PM EDT this afternoon for a
portion of central Kentucky, including the following areas, Fayette,
Garrard, Jessamine and Madison.
The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
A Flood Watch remains in effect until 800 AM EDT Thursday for
portions of Indiana and Kentucky...
