* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Extreme Southeastern Riverside County in southern California...
  Extreme Northeastern San Diego County in southwestern California...

* Until 400 PM PDT.

* At 154 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. The expected rainfall rate is 1
  to 2 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
  begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
           flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Thermal and Santa Rosa Mountain.

Flood waters can surge through normally dry washes, far away from
ongoing thunderstorm activity.

Be aware of rapidly rising waters even outside of heavy rain and
thunderstorms.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
