Southeastern Jefferson County in southeastern Idaho...
South Central Madison County in southeastern Idaho...
* Until 200 PM MDT.
* At 1158 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain over the Big Rock Burn Scar. Flash flooding is ongoing
or expected to begin shortly. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar
will result in debris flow moving through the Big Rock burn scar.
The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other
loose materials.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Big Rock Burn Scar.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the
Big Rock Burn Scar.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
This is a life threatening situation. Heavy rainfall will cause
extensive and severe flash flooding of creeks...streams...and ditches
in the Big Rock Burn Scar. Severe debris flows can also be
anticipated across roads. Roads and driveways may be washed away in
places. If you encounter flood waters...climb to safety.

The Big Rock burn scar in...
Southeastern Jefferson County in southeastern Idaho...
South Central Madison County in southeastern Idaho...
* Until 300 PM MDT.
* At 125 PM MDT, Emergency management reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain over the Big Rock Burn Scar. Between 0.25 and
0.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1
to 0.2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
already occurring. Snake River Rd. and Heise Road have water and
debris on the roadway.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow
moving through the Big Rock burn scar. The debris flow can consist of
rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.

MDT THIS AFTERNOON FOR SOUTHEASTERN JEFFERSON AND SOUTH CENTRAL
MADISON COUNTIES...
The heavy rain has ended but impacts from earlier flooding remain in
place across the area. Please continue to heed remaining road
closures.
A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for the burn scar area until
1000 PM MDT Thursday.
