The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southern La Porte County in northwestern Indiana...
  Central Pulaski County in northwestern Indiana...
  Southwestern Starke County in northwestern Indiana...

* Until 245 PM EDT /145 PM CDT/.

* At 1244 PM EDT /1144 AM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated 
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 
  3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen within the last 3 hours, making 
  a total of up to 10 inches since yesterday afternoon. The expected 
  rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall 
  amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash 
  flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Winamac, North Judson, Pulaski, Ripley, Denham, Beardstown, 
  Vanmeter Park, Star City, English Lake, Lawton, San Pierre and 
  Lomax.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
