* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Western Arapahoe County in northeastern Colorado...
  Southeastern Denver County in northeastern Colorado...

* Until 715 PM MDT.

* At 421 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
  0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of
  0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding
  is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, gulches,
           roads, and poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Southwestern Aurora, eastern Centennial, Greenwood Village,
  Foxfield and Cherry Creek Reservoir.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from this storm will cause flash flooding of small
creeks and streams, highways, streets, underpasses, drainage areas
and other low lying spots.
