Mercer County in northwestern Illinois...
Northeastern Henderson County in west central Illinois...
Northern Warren County in west central Illinois...
* Until 1100 AM CDT Friday.
* At 459 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have already fallen across the warned area from ongoing storms, or
from storms earlier. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches
are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

At 846 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding caused
by heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in
the warned area. 911 Dispatch reported that several secondary roads
were closed in Louisa County due to water over the roads. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
