  Northern Garrett County in western Maryland...

* Until 415 AM EDT.

* At 121 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of 
  rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.75 to 1.5 inches 
  in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* At 412 AM EDT, Emergency management reports an ongoing water 
  rescue in the vicinity of the Casselman River and Bittinger Road. 
  Several homes have also been reported to have flooded basements 
  between Grantsville and Bittinger. Between 1.5 and 4 inches of 
  rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.25 to 0.5 inches 
  in 1 hour. Flash flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR NORTHERN GARRETT COUNTY HAS BEEN REPLACED 
WITH A FLOOD WARNING...

Several roads remained closed this morning mainly along the 
Cassleman River as water continues to overflow its banks. The river 
has risen to 4.99 feet as of 430am this morning (which is a 4 feet 
rise since 1am) and has slowly started to crest. Expect flooding to 
continue over the next few hours. Roads closures include Dung Hill 
Road, Durst Road, Bittinger Road, Maple Grove ROad, and Jennings 
Road.
