  Southeastern Powell County in east central Kentucky...
  West Central Breathitt County in southeastern Kentucky...
  Northeastern Lee County in southeastern Kentucky...
  Southwestern Wolfe County in southeastern Kentucky...

* Until 930 PM EDT.

* At 742 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.75 and 1.75 inches of 
  rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM EDT THIS 
EVENING FOR EASTERN ESTILL, SOUTHEASTERN POWELL, WEST CENTRAL 
BREATHITT, NORTHEASTERN LEE AND SOUTHWESTERN WOLFE COUNTIES...

At 1039 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding in 
Widecreek. Between 1.5 and 3.25 inches of rain fell from earlier 
thunderstorms. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional 
rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose an 
immediate threat.

However, a Flood Watch remains in effect until 800 AM EDT Friday for 
portions of east central, northeast, and southeast Kentucky.
