Northeastern Madison County in central Indiana...
Northern Delaware County in east central Indiana...
* Until 500 AM EDT.
* At 1254 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of
rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Muncie, Albany, Eaton, Summitville and Gaston.
This includes Interstate 69 between mile markers 240 and 251.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

MORNING FOR NORTHEASTERN MADISON AND NORTHERN DELAWARE COUNTIES...
At 206 AM EDT, emergency management reported flash flooding along
State Road 28 east of Alexandria. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.
SOURCE...Emergency management reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor

have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
