Southern Coles County in east central Illinois...
Cumberland County in east central Illinois...
Southern Edgar County in east central Illinois...
* Until 1115 AM CDT.
* At 813 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 3 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Charleston, Mattoon, Marshall, Casey, Neoga, Greenup, Toledo,
Martinsville, Ashmore, Westfield, Lerna, Jewett, Janesville, York,
Paradise, Woodbury, Darwin, Loxa, Fox Ridge State Park and Hazel
Dell.

to pose a significant threat. Please continue to heed remaining road
closures and avoid areas of standing water.
