The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Carroll County in east central Ohio...
Northeastern Tuscarawas County in east central Ohio...
* Until 515 AM EDT.
* At 210 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain
have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

New Philadelphia, Dover, Uhrichsville, Carrollton, Strasburg,
Augusta, Malvern, Midvale, Mineral City, Amsterdam, Bowerston,
Barnhill, Dellroy, Sherrodsville, Roswell, Parral, Zoar and
Leesville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

of east central Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
