The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona...

* Until 730 PM MST.

* At 430 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
  0.8 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts
  of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
  ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
           drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  San Isidro, Kitt Peak, Fresnal Canyon and Pan Tak.

This includes the following highways...
Route 86 between mile markers 122 and 143. Route 286 between mile
markers 23 and 39.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Altar Wash, Banner Wash, Puertocito Wash, San Juan Wash, Solano
  Wash, Alambre Wash, Sabino Wash, Anegan Wash, Fresno Wash, Mulberry
  Wash, Cerro Prieto Wash, Sells Wash, Viopuli Wash, Fresnal Wash,
  Baboquivari Wash, Ali Molina Wash, Mendoza Wash, South Mendoza
  Wash, Topawa Wash, Contreras Wash, Pan Tak Wash, Brawley Wash,
  Brown Wash, Saucito Wash, Comobabi Wash, Thomas Canyon Wash and San
  Vicente Wash.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Remain alert for flooding even in locations not receiving rain.
