The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Pima County in southeastern Arizona...

* Until 900 PM MST.

* At 601 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.8 and 1.8 inches of
  rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches
  are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
           drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  GuVo, Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, Why, Gunsight, Charco
  27, KuKatch and San Simon West.

This includes the following highways...
Route 85 between mile markers 48 and 72. Route 86 between mile
markers 53 and 75.

This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations...
Gunsight Wash in Gunsight.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Sikort Chuapo Wash, Alamo Wash, Siovi Shuatak Wash, Kuakatch Wash,
  Pisinimo Wash, Pia Oik Wash, Growler Wash, Cuerda de Lena, Vamori
  Wash, Gu Vo Wash, Gunsight Wash, Hickiwan Wash, Aguajita Wash, San
  Simon Wash and Rio Cornez Wash.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
