The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northern Pocahontas County in northeastern West Virginia...
  Central Randolph County in northeastern West Virginia...

* Until 630 AM EDT.

* At 332 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain
  have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
           drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Mill Creek, Dailey, Beverly, Huttonsville and Glady.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll free,

MORNING FOR NORTHERN POCAHONTAS AND CENTRAL RANDOLPH COUNTIES...

At 445 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

NORTHERN POCAHONTAS AND CENTRAL RANDOLPH COUNTIES...

Flood waters have receded. The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no
longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining
road closures.

A Flood Watch remains in effect until 800 AM EDT Friday for portions
of northeast Kentucky, southeast Ohio, southwest Virginia, and West
Virginia.
