The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  South Central Graham County in southeastern Arizona...

* Until 1130 PM MST.

* At 827 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
  0.7 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts
  up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
  ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
           drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Safford, Thatcher, Roper Lake State Park, Mount Graham, Frye Mesa
  Dam, Fort Grant and Swift Trail Junction.

This includes the following highways...
Route 191 between mile markers 112 and 118. Route 266 near mile
marker 121...and between mile markers 125 and 126.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Frye Creek, Twilight Creek, Jacobson Creek, Gila River, Gibson
  Creek, Ash Creek, Stockton Wash, Noon Creek and Marijilda Wash.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

         flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
         areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
