The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Morgan County in southeastern Ohio...
  Central Perry County in southeastern Ohio...

* Until 230 PM EDT.

* At 946 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain in the warned area. Rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 2 inches
  are possible in the warned area.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Between 4 and 6 inches of rain fell from overnight
           thunderstorms which resulted in flooding of numerous
           structures, vehicles, and roads. This is a dangerous
           situation. This additional rainfall will exacerbate the
           ongoing flooding and impact ongoing recovery efforts,
           particularly in the town of Crooskville. Responding
           officials and residents should prepare to move to higher
           ground.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  New Lexington, Somerset, Perry State Forest, Crooksville and
  Junction City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll free,
800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.

  Northwestern Morgan County in southeastern Ohio...
  Central Perry County in southeastern Ohio...

* Until 530 PM EDT.

* At 219 PM EDT, Even though heavy rainfall has ended for now,
  continued runoff will result in flash flooding of creeks and
  streams. Additionally, thunderstorms may move back into the area
  late this afternoon, further exacerbating the flooding situation.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Between 5 and 7 inches of rain fell has fallen since
           midnight last night which resulted in flooding of numerous
           structures, vehicles, and roads. Responding officials and
           residents should remain vigilant into the early evening
           hours for additional rises of creeks and streams.

  Junction City.
