Eastern Clark County in southern Nevada...
* Until 515 PM PDT /515 PM MST/.
* At 427 PM PDT /427 PM MST/, a severe thunderstorm was located over
Meadview, or 41 miles east of Boulder City, moving northeast at 10
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect waves on area lakes of 2 to 4 feet.
* Locations impacted include...
South Cove and Meadview.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If on Lake Mead near South Cove, get away from the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15
miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are
close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do
not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.

Meadview, or 41 miles southeast of Overton, moving northeast at 10
mph.

FOR CENTRAL MOHAVE AND EASTERN CLARK COUNTIES...
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty
winds are still possible with this thunderstorm.
