San Bernardino County in southern California...
* Until 415 PM PDT.
* At 336 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Newberry
Springs, or 9 miles east of Daggett, moving north at 5 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Newberry Springs.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 15 in California between mile markers 85 and 101.
Interstate 40 in California between mile markers 11 and 23.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY...
At 353 PM PDT, A severe thunderstorm was located near Newberry
Springs, or 9 miles east of Daggett, moving north at 5 mph.
THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR BARSTOW.
HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated. The Barstow Airport reported wind gusts to
89 MPH.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.
