The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  San Bernardino County in southern California...

* Until 745 PM PDT.

* At 654 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Amboy, or 27
  miles southwest of Mitchell Caverns, moving north at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
           roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Mainly rural areas of San Bernardino County.

This includes Interstate 40 in California between mile markers 62 and
80.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Report severe weather to your nearest law enforcement agency or the
National Weather Service office in Las Vegas NV.

Amboy, or 25 miles southwest of Mitchell Caverns, moving north at 10
mph.
