The National Weather Service in Caribou Maine has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Penobscot County in east central Maine...

* Until 815 PM EDT.

* At 733 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles south of
  East Millinocket, or 8 miles south of Millinocket, moving southeast
  at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind 
           damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  East Millinocket, Medway, Springfield, Lincoln, Lee, Chester, Winn,
  Burlington, Lowell, Woodville, and Cedar Lake.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 95 between mile markers 228 and 244.
 State Highway 11 between East Millinocket and Medway.

FOR EAST CENTRAL PENOBSCOT COUNTY...

At 752 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lincoln, or 14
miles northeast of Howland, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind 
         damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Medway, Springfield, Lincoln, Lee, Chester, Winn, Burlington, Lowell,
Woodville, and Cedar Lake.
