* At 253 PM PDT /253 PM MST/, a severe thunderstorm was located over
Desert Hills, or near Lake Havasu City, moving northeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect waves on area lakes of 2 to 4 feet.

Lake Havasu City and Desert Hills.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If on or near Lake Havasu, get away from the water and move indoors
or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not be
caught on the water in a thunderstorm.

At 314 PM PDT /314 PM MST/, a severe thunderstorm was located over
Desert Hills, or near Lake Havasu City, moving northeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Lake Havasu City and Desert Hills.

windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
