The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Clark County in southern Nevada...

* Until 245 PM PDT.

* At 159 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Callville
  Bay, or 7 miles east of Las Vegas Bay, moving northeast at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Callville Bay, Callville Bay Campground and Hoover Dam.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.

If on or near Lake Mead, get away from the water and move indoors or
inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles from
the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not be
caught on the water in a thunderstorm.

At 228 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Callville Bay
Campground, or 11 miles east of Las Vegas Bay, moving northeast at 10
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
