The National Weather Service in Phoenix has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  East central La Paz County in west central Arizona...

* Until midnight MST.

* At 1117 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles
  southeast of Salome, or 33 miles west of Tonopah, moving west at 10
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Salome, Vicksburg, Vicksburg Junction, and Harcuvar.

This includes the following highways...
AZ Interstate 10 between mile markers 45 and 66.
US Highway 60 between mile markers 46 and 57.
AZ Route 72 between mile markers 47 and 49.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

FOR EAST CENTRAL LA PAZ COUNTY...

At 1144 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Salome, or 38
miles west of Tonopah, moving northwest at 10 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Vicksburg, Vicksburg Junction, Harcuvar, and Salome.

This includes the following highways...

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR EAST CENTRAL LA PAZ COUNTY
WILL EXPIRE AT MIDNIGHT MST...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, gusty
winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for
a portion of La Paz County near Brenda AZ.
