The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for portions of...
  McIntosh County in southeastern Georgia...

* Until 745 PM EDT.

* At 700 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Valona. This
  storm was nearly stationary.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
           roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Sapelo Island, Valona, Meridian, Crescent, Carnigan, Shellman
  Bluff, Blackbeard Island, Wolf Island and Raccoon Bluff.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm. Do not drive
your vehicle through flooded roadways.
