The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Apache County in northeastern Arizona...

* Until 230 PM MST.

* At 203 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles southeast
  of Cerro Montoso Peak, or 14 miles west of Springerville, moving
  northeast at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
           roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Cerro Montoso Peak.

This includes the following highways...
Highway 60 between mile markers 367 and 380. Highway 180 191 between
mile markers 382 and 390.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING IS CANCELLED FOR APACHE COUNTY...

The storm which prompted the warning west of Springerville has
weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat
to life or property. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.
However, small hail is still possible with this thunderstorm.
