* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Montgomery County in east central Kentucky...
  Northwestern Bath County in east central Kentucky...
  Fleming County in east central Kentucky...
  North central Rowan County in east central Kentucky...

* Until 515 PM EDT.

* At 431 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near West Union to near Georgetown, moving southeast
  at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to 
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near...
  Fairview around 435 PM EDT.
  Cowan around 440 PM EDT.
  Flemingsburg around 445 PM EDT.
  Pecks Ridge around 450 PM EDT.

Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include
Wallingford and Sharpsburg.

building.

Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread
significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediately
likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building. These storms may cause serious injury and significant
property damage.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM EDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN MONTGOMERY...NORTHWESTERN BATH...FLEMING AND NORTH
CENTRAL ROWAN COUNTIES...

At 453 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Vanceburg to 6 miles north of Thoroughbred Acres,
moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect 
         considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles. 
         Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

Locations impacted include...
  Flemingsburg, Sharpsburg, Sideview and Mount Sterling.

EXPIRE AT 515 PM EDT...

The strongest winds which prompted the warning have moved out of the 
area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, 
heavy rain is still possible with ongoing thunderstorms.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
east central Kentucky.
