* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Carter County in southeastern Montana...

* Until 445 PM MDT.

* At 404 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles north of
  Ridgeway, or 20 miles south of Ekalaka, moving east at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Ridgeway and Belltower.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm is capable of producing all types of severe weather
including extremely large hail, destructive straight line winds, and
tornadoes. Move quickly to a safe shelter such as an interior room, a
bathroom, closet or basement.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM MDT FOR
CENTRAL CARTER COUNTY...

At 420 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles northeast of
Ridgeway, or 22 miles south of Ekalaka, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Belltower.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING WILL EXPIRE AT 445 PM MDT FOR CENTRAL
CARTER COUNTY...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, small hail
and gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm.
