The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  West Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona...

* Until 700 PM MST.

* At 612 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles east of
  Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, moving west at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  GuVo, Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, Gunsight, Pia Oik,
  KuKatch and Lukeville.

This includes the following highways...
Route 85 between mile markers 56 and 80. Route 86 between mile
markers 56 and 64.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and large hail.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning is one of natures leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
