* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Southeastern Cochise County in southeastern Arizona...
* Until 600 PM MST.
* At 510 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles northeast
of Bisbee-Douglas Airport, moving north at 5 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Elfrida, McNeal and Rucker Canyon.
This includes Route 191 between mile markers 14 and 33.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning is one of natures leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
