* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Cochise County in southeastern Arizona...

* Until 900 PM MST.

* At 818 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles northeast
  of Hereford, moving northwest at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
           roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Sierra Vista, Hereford, Fort Huachuca, Palominas, Charleston and
  Ramsey Canyon Preserve.

This includes the following highways...
Route 90 between mile markers 318 and 336. Route 80 between mile
markers 324 and 339. Route 92 between mile markers 322 and 348. Route
82 between mile markers 62 and 63.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning is one of natures leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

COUNTY...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been allowed to expire. However, gusty
winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.
