* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Davidson County in central North Carolina...
  Northwestern Randolph County in central North Carolina...

* Until 445 PM EDT.

* At 406 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles north of
  Lexington, moving southeast at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  High Point, Lexington, Thomasville, Archdale, Trinity, Arcadia,
  Gordontown, and Welcome.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 92 and 111.
 Interstate 74 between Mile Markers 78 and 79.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN DAVIDSON AND
NORTHWESTERN RANDOLPH COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.  However, gusty winds are
still possible with this thunderstorm.
