* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Caldwell County in western North Carolina...
  Central Burke County in western North Carolina...

* Until 600 PM EDT.

* At 508 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northwest
  of Lenoir, moving south at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind 
           damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Lenoir, Sawmills, Gamewell, Hudson, Cajahs Mountain, Cedar Rock,
  Globe, Collettsville, Patterson, and Upton.

COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe

thunderstorm.
