Southwestern Perry County in south central Indiana...
Hancock County in central Kentucky...
West central Breckinridge County in central Kentucky...
* Until 530 PM CDT.
* At 450 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Hawesville,
moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Tell City, Hawesville, Cannelton, Cloverport, Skillman, Goering,
Fenn Haven, Pellville, Dodd, and Victoria Crossroads.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of natures leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

moving southeast at 20 mph.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHWESTERN PERRY...HANCOCK
AND WEST CENTRAL BRECKINRIDGE COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 530 PM CDT...
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, heavy
rain is still possible with this thunderstorm.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
central Kentucky.
To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Louisville.
Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for
southern Hancock County and southwestern Breckinridge County.
