The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  South central Las Animas County in southeastern Colorado...

* Until 315 PM MDT.

* At 244 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from Hoehne to 9 miles southwest of Model to 10 miles
  northeast of Sugarite Canyon State Park, moving northeast at 15
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 325 PM, ENTER 60 mph was 
           reported at the Trinidad Airport.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Tyrone, Model, and Hoehne.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

  extending from Hoehne to 8 miles southwest of Model to 11 miles
  northeast of Sugarite Canyon State Park, moving northeast at 15
  mph.

           reported at the Trinidad airport.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTH CENTRAL LAS ANIMAS
COUNTY WILL EXPIRE AT 315 PM MDT...

The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, gusty
winds and heavy rain are still possible with these thunderstorms.
