* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Otero County in southeastern Colorado...
  Northeastern Las Animas County in southeastern Colorado...

* Until 400 PM MDT.

* At 319 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 20 miles northwest of Kim to 17 miles southeast of
  Thatcher, moving north at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* These severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly rural areas of
  southeastern Otero and northeastern Las Animas Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 400 PM MDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN OTERO AND NORTHEASTERN LAS ANIMAS COUNTIES...

At 338 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 17 miles south of Higbee to 16 miles southeast of
Thatcher, moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.
