* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Western Woodbury County in west central Iowa...
  Southwestern Plymouth County in northwestern Iowa...
  Dakota County in northeastern Nebraska...
  Dixon County in northeastern Nebraska...
  Southern Union County in southeastern South Dakota...

* Until 515 AM CDT.

* At 416 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Maskell to near Dixon In Dixon County to near
  Wayne, moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near...
  Allen, Newcastle, Concord, Martinsburg, Dixon In Dixon County, and 
  Maskell around 420 AM CDT.
  Ponca and Ponca State Park around 430 AM CDT.
  Elk Point and Emerson around 435 AM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include
Jefferson, Hubbard, Jackson In Dakota County, Sioux City, North Sioux

At 438 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Elk Point to near Ponca to near Emerson, moving
east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Sioux City, North Sioux City, Jefferson, Hubbard, Jackson In

  Bluff, Salix and Lawton.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR WESTERN WOODBURY...SOUTH
CENTRAL PLYMOUTH...DAKOTA...DIXON AND SOUTHEASTERN UNION COUNTIES IS
CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.  However, gusty winds and
heavy rain are still possible with these thunderstorms.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 AM CDT for
northwestern and west central Iowa...northeastern Nebraska...and
southeastern South Dakota.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
