The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  White County in northwestern Indiana...

* Until 400 AM EDT.

* At 303 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Earl Park, or
  near Kentland, moving east at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Monticello, Monon, Brookston, Wolcott, Reynolds, Chalmers, Badger
  Grove, Smithson, Golden Hill, Indiana Beach, Norway, Sitka, and
  Cedar Point.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 185 and 198.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of natures leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,

Boswell, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
