* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Cheyenne County in the Panhandle of Nebraska...
  Southern Morrill County in the Panhandle of Nebraska...

* Until 515 PM MDT.

* At 412 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Courthouse
  And Jail Rock, or 27 miles north of Sidney, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Bridgeport, Dalton, Broadwater, Courthouse And Jail Rock, Morrill
  County Fairgrounds, Redington, and The Intersection Of Highway 385
  And 92.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM MDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN CHEYENNE AND SOUTHEASTERN MORRILL COUNTIES...

At 434 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Dalton, or 25
miles north of Sidney, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind 
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Cheyenne and southeastern Morrill Counties, including
the following locations... The Intersection Of Highway 385 And 92.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from
windows.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of natures leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

If on or near lakes, get away from the water and move indoors or 
inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles 
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close 
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now!  Do not 
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN CHEYENNE AND
SOUTHEASTERN MORRILL COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 515 PM MDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, small
hail, gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with this
thunderstorm.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Cheyenne.
