extending from Hazleton to near Independence to Minne Estema Park,
moving east at 55 mph.

FOR NORTHEASTERN JONES COUNTY...
At 810 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Asbury to near Otter Creek to near Monmouth,
moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Monticello, Cascade, Onslow, Center Junction, Camp Courageous, Scotch
Grove, Jones County Fairgrounds, Pictured Rocks Wildlife Area, Temple
Hill, and Monticello Municipal Airport.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
