Southwestern Dickey County in southeastern North Dakota...
* Until 630 PM CDT.
* At 533 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles southwest
of Merricourt City, or 17 miles west of Ellendale, moving southeast
at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Ellendale, Forbes, Merricourt City, and Merricourt.

FOR SOUTHWESTERN DICKEY COUNTY...
At 558 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Forbes, or 10
miles west of Ellendale, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHWESTERN DICKEY COUNTY IS
CANCELLED...
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and has exited the warned area. Therefore, the warning has
been cancelled. However, small hail is still possible with this
thunderstorm.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
southeastern North Dakota.
To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Bismarck.
