* Until 330 PM MDT.
* At 230 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Johnson
Siding, or 11 miles west of Rapid City, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect damage
to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
* Locations impacted include...
Rapid City, Rapid Valley, Black Hawk, Summerset, Johnson Siding,
Hisega, Silver City, Rockerville, Bear Country, Reptile Gardens,
Sheridan Lake, Keystone Wye and Pactola Reservoir.
This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 50
and 62.

At 240 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Johnson Siding,
or 9 miles west of Rapid City, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Rapid City, Rapid Valley, Black Hawk, Johnson Siding, Hisega,
Rockerville, Bear Country, Reptile Gardens and Pactola Reservoir.
This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 54
and 62.

windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
