* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Southeastern Mercer County in northwestern Illinois...
Southern Henry County in northwestern Illinois...
* Until 830 AM CDT.
* At 749 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Ophiem to near Woodhull to near Henderson, moving
east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Kewanee, Galva, Burgess, Viola, Woodhull, Matherville, Alpha, North
Henderson, Shale City, New Windsor, Alexis, Bishop Hill, Ophiem,
Wanlock, Gilchrist, Old Gilchrist, Nekoma, Kewanee Municipal
Airport, and Griffin.
This includes Interstate 74 in Illinois between mile markers 27 and
33.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to

SOUTHERN HENRY COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 830 AM CDT...

be allowed to expire. Gusty winds are still possible.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 PM CDT for
