Eastern Cheyenne County in east central Colorado...
Wichita County in west central Kansas...
Southern Wallace County in west central Kansas...
Greeley County in west central Kansas...
* Until 800 PM MDT/900 PM CDT/.
* At 700 PM MDT/800 PM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along
a line extending from 9 miles northeast of Eads to 7 miles
southeast of Towner to 11 miles north of Syracuse, moving northeast
at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Leoti, Cheyenne Wells, Tribune, Weskan, Horace, Selkirk, and
Marienthal.
This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 136 and 162.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to

MDT/900 PM CDT/ FOR EASTERN CHEYENNE COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL
COLORADO...WICHITA...SOUTHERN WALLACE AND GREELEY COUNTIES IN WEST
CENTRAL KANSAS...
At 715 PM MDT/815 PM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a
line extending from 14 miles north of Chivington to 6 miles west of
Horace to 17 miles north of Syracuse, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Mesonet. At 708 MDT, a mesonet site 17 miles south of
Tribune, KS measured a wind gust of 64 mph.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...

been reissued for Greeley and Wallace Counties in Kansas, and
Cheyenne County in Colorado, and is in effect until 900 PM MDT.
