* Until 1115 AM CDT.
* At 1027 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Wanatah, or
near Valparaiso, moving east at 20 mph.
THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR THE WANATAH AREA!
HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
siding, and vehicles.
* Locations impacted include...
Kingsford Heights, Wanatah, Hanna, Thomaston, South Wanatah, Tracy,
Union Mills, and Haskell.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside

At 1050 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Wanatah, or 9
miles southeast of Westville, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
