* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Pulaski County in northwestern Indiana...

* Until 1230 PM EDT.

* At 1143 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Medaryville,
  or 11 miles west of Winamac, moving east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Winamac, Francesville, Medaryville, Pulaski, Ripley, Monterey,
  Beardstown, Vanmeter Park, Lakeside In Pulaski County, Denham,
  Lawton, Clarks, Star City, and Thornhope.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay
away from windows.

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 PM EDT for
northwestern Indiana.
