The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Burleigh County in south central North Dakota...
  Northwestern Emmons County in south central North Dakota...
  Northeastern Morton County in south central North Dakota...

* Until 1115 PM CDT.

* At 1020 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles north of
  St. Anthony, or 8 miles southwest of Bismarck, moving east at 25
  mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
           tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
           roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Bismarck, Mandan, Lincoln, Menoken, St. Anthony, University Of
  Mary, Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park, Mcdowell Dam Recreation
  Area, Huff, Double Ditch Indian Village, Stumpf State Natural Area
  and Crown Butte Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and large hail.

At 1040 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles southeast
of Mandan, or near Bismarck, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

NORTHWESTERN EMMONS AND NORTHEASTERN MORTON COUNTIES...

The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area.
Therefore, the warning has been allowed to expire. A Severe
Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for northern Burleigh
County.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for a
portion of south central North Dakota.
