The National Weather Service in Rapid City has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Tripp County in south central South Dakota...

* Until 130 AM CDT.

* At 104 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
  9 miles north of Colome to 20 miles south of Keyapaha, or along a
  line from 9 miles east of Winner to 41 miles south of Winner,
  moving southeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
           tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
           roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Winner, Colome, Millboro, Wewela, Ideal South Housing and Dog Ear
  Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and large hail.

This storm has a history of producing damaging winds.

At 121 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 11
miles east of Colome to 22 miles southwest of Wewela, or along a line
from 18 miles east of Winner to 45 miles south of Winner, moving
southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and small hail.

SOUTHEASTERN TRIPP COUNTY...

The Severe Thunderstorm Warning that was previously in effect has
been reissued for Tripp County and is in effect until 145 AM CDT.
Please refer to that bulletin for the latest severe weather
information. However, small hail and gusty winds are still possible
with these thunderstorms.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for a
portion of south central South Dakota.
