* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  North central Kanawha County in central West Virginia...
  Southwestern Roane County in central West Virginia...
  Southeastern Jackson County in northwestern West Virginia...

* Until 230 PM EDT.

* At 202 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Ripley,
  moving southeast at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Ripley, Sissonville, Kenna, Statts Mills, Evans, Harmony, Given,
  Kentuck, Fairplain, Gay, and Walton.

This includes Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 115
and 139.

building.

This is a dangerous storm, capable of producing large hail driven by
severe winds! SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy structure and stay
away from windows! If you are caught outdoors, cover your head and
neck.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTH CENTRAL KANAWHA...
SOUTHWESTERN ROANE AND SOUTHEASTERN JACKSON COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.  However, heavy rain is
still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
central, western and northwestern West Virginia.
